It is a gloomy day, and it's worth a walk in the park with something to eat and quench at the same time.
Where to go? What to munch?
There's a new food park not far from the metro! but in the heart of Bulacan, Malolos City, where food parks are starting to pop up in every corner of it. Food parks seem to be a trend in this millennial era and it's ubiquitous. It's a collaboration of different food stalls and an exposure of culinary and wit, with twists and turns on every food to be presented uniquely on your table.

Kartell food park just opened recently and its so lit! It has this industrial feel yet with a touch of tropical and airy ambiance as it opens itself to the fresh breeze of the province. It also contains Bulakenyo's original food stalls and showcasing the entrepreneurs of the vicinity. I went to Kartell food park together with my cousins to visit their stalls The Juice project and Barking Mad cafe. In which it started as small time businesses last year! and now, it already have different branches in Bulacan.
The Juice Project squeezes fresh citrus and berries with a touch honey and it also offers to sparkle it up and create freshly squeezed sodas. This project started as a kiosk in SM Pampanga and now expanding itself on different food parks in Bulacan. The honey-lemon phenomenon is simply conquering the thirst-quenching appetite of Filipinos. As they also know that it has healthy benefits which are freshly squeezed right in front of you.

To all those having a sweet tooth they also have their Barking Mad cafe which started in Guguinto Bulacan beside BL Pet shop. The first pet-friendly cafe in Bulacan. Not so long hereafter they combined it with BL pet shop and come up with Doghouse cafe ( this will be featured soon in this blog, Stay connected!) where hoomans can interact with in-house dogs. After the success of this cafe, they are now extending the mad shakes itself and will be available first in Kartel food park also. Their shakes are not to sweet and not too bland but beyond the satisfaction of a sweet tooth. The creaminess of its flavors compliments the savor of different foods inside the food park.

Overall this food park offers a new experience for Malolenos especially that Malolos is the cradle of our democracy, it now opens its doors to new flavors and trends of our era. The hip backgrounds and colors that's totally youthful and vibrant, instagram-able walls that offers picture perfect feeds on your accounts, and never will I forget the Foods and beverages itself that will never fail to satisfy our cravings.As Bulakenyos we did not need to go for extra miles to visit a food park, it's within our reach now and let's support our own Bulakenyo entrepreneurs in this gastronomic adventures of ours.
